What a chock-filled weekend!
The Bootcamp phase of SMCCI’s flagship incubation programme for aspiring entrepreneurs saw participants revisiting their business models to analyse its relevance and feasibility.
Teams also underwent classes, ‘Putting your Business on the Canvas’ and ‘Changing Believes & Closing Deals’ and received crucial knowledge on identifying internal and external objections which their customers may have and methods to employ when handling these scenarios.
Knowledge is best absorbed when put into practice while still fresh!
Teams also got a head start on their Mini Business Challenges.
These tasks aims to guide teams through crucial decision making processes business owners undertake during the initial portions of setting up their businesses. Broken down into stages, teams will be giving their best shot at getting the optimal value proposition of their business, achieving the optimal business model, correct brand positioning and ultimately achieving the best business plan.
Challenges will conclusively lead up to the Pitching Showcase where teams will present their business ideas and undergo a Q&A session before receiving feedback by professionals.
Protégé Kita’s first Fireside Chat session also introduced business professionals; Mr. Sasidharan Unnithan, Founder and CEO of Fightzone Singapore, Ms. Seow Hui Hong, Programme Director of Bluechilli Healthtech and Mr. Larry Chua, mentor at Founder Institute.
The informal sharing session allowed programme participants to air their views and receive varying feedbacks from different industries which they will be able apply to their business plans.
